Byredo La Tulipe was inspired by the arrival of spring, specifically the tulip flower, which symbolizes renewal, elegance, and simplicity. Tulips, one of the first flowers to bloom after winter, are known for their fresh, clean, and slightly green scent—a fragrance that is difficult to capture in perfumery. Ben Gorham, Byredo’s founder, sought to create a perfume that evokes the essence of a tulip garden, capturing not only the flower but also the crisp green stems and leaves, and the feeling of a fresh, dewy morning in a blossoming garden.
